how to attract a manAre you wondering how to attract a man? Well, you and majority of women are wondering the same thing. So, what’s really the best approach to get the man you like? Here are three timeless yet effective ways you can use to know how to attract a man, or even capture his heart forever.

Work On Your Self-Confidence First

I know it sounds such a cliché, but this is a crucial step for attracting a man. Not making eye contact, feelings of unworthiness, negative self-perception—things like those would just repel men.

Most women with poor self-perception tend to be clingy, insecure, negative thinkers, and need constant reassurance. Even at first meeting, men can quickly smell low self-confidence from miles away. That’s definitely not how to attract a man.

But how can you be more self-confident? There are a lot of ways you can do to boost your confidence. Here are a few of my tips:

  • Interact with new people, especially guys. Avoid seeing them as potential lovers, so you don’t feel conscious or feel the need to impress when you’re around them.
  • Choose a task you think is not too easy or too difficult to accomplish, and then just do it.
  • Avoid naysayers.
  • Get to know yourself better, so others won’t have to dictate who you should be.

Pay Attention to Your Appearance

I hate to break it to you, but there’s really no “love” at first sight. However, there’s such a thing as “sexual attraction” at first sight. Your physical appearance is your quick ticket to catching a man’s attention.

Here’s an interesting study done by researchers from Aberdeen University Face Research Laboratory that I stumbled upon. [1] Researchers found out that men who have high testosterone levels are more attracted to women with feminine faces.

Relax, ladies. You don’t have to undergo series of cosmetic surgeries just to look like Natalie Portman. How you look serves only as a bait. It doesn’t mean that if you look really pretty he’ll fall in love with you. Besides, you could also show your feminine side through your behavior.

And speaking of behavior, I’ll go to my next tip on how to attract a man.

Let Your Body Language Do the Talking

Use your body language to let him know you’re interested. The first thing you could do is to establish brief eye contact. Let your gaze briefly drop to his eyes, and then to his mouth and back to his eyes again.

You could also give a coy smile, but don’t look too excited. Once he approaches you, use light physical contact, like putting your hand on his arm or shoulder when something he said makes you laugh.

Remember, not all guys who find you attractive will value you. That’s why it’s a big no-no to make assumptions that a guy you’ is Mr. Right. You wouldn’t really know that until you two are in a serious relationship.
